The Inlander, the latest build from US Motorcycle Design Director, Michael Woolaway, pays tribute to the inland life—Hollywood actually—where the bike lives. The Inlander started out as a stock Triumph Bonneville 900. It was the owner’s absolute favorite bike, his everyday ride, and the modifications happened bit by bit—first the motor, then the airbox removal, then the hand-made front and rear fenders, the narrowed, hand-made seat pan with custom leather seat and matching bags—each change carefully considered. It ended up as a cream-colored head turner.
Unveiled today at the Quail Motorcycle Gathering in California was this tasty limited-edition Triumph street-tracker from a famous car-building shop. Best known for its traditional hot-rods, the So-Cal Speed Shop is adding motorcycles to its considerable repertoire with the “Miler,” a stripped-down special based around a modern Triumph Bonneville twin.
